The share is calculated as the number of referred homecare recipients within a group out of the total population within the same group (age, relatives). It is, hence, not possible to add the percentages across age groups and type of relatives to obtain the total percentage of homecare recipient referrals in the population or within a certain age group. The statistics are compiled based on monthly digitalized data reports from the municipalities.

The monthly statistical coverage varies among the municipalities. The number of recipients worked is estimated as an average of the reported months.
