With the publication of Construction cost indices for civil engineering projects, 1st quarter 2025, the statistic has changed base year (2021 = 100), weight basis and will going forward be published in the table BYG62. Table BYG61 has been discontinued.#
In BYG62, all indices have been rescaled to 2021 = 100. This affects historical index levels, but not quarterly or yearly development rates, which remain the same as before the base year change. Therefore, BYG62 can be used in the same way as BYG61 was used previously. Due to the rounding of decimals during the switch, development rates may, however, differ in a magnitude of +/- 0.1 percentage points compared to previous listings.

Please note that index values from BYG61 and BYG62 are non-comparable.
